Accessibility statement

Accessibility level

The website has been made accessible in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568 at level AA. The standard is based on the W3C accessibility guidelines, and the site was built to WCAG 2.1 level AA.

The site has been tested with automated tools and manually, including full keyboard navigation and display checks at different screen sizes, on desktop and mobile.

What we have done

• Clear structure: hierarchical headings, marked navigation and content regions, and a declared page language and direction (Hebrew right-to-left, English left-to-right).
• Keyboard navigation: all links, buttons and forms work with the keyboard (Tab and Shift+Tab to move, Enter to activate, Esc to close), with a clearly visible focus indicator.
• Skip link: every page begins with a "Skip to main content" link.
• Images: every image that conveys information has a text description, and purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Contrast: a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 between text and background.
• Responsive layout: the site adapts to desktop, tablet and phone, and supports zoom up to 200% without loss of content.
• Motion: the site respects the operating system's "reduce motion" setting, and the hero slideshow can be paused with a dedicated button.
• Forms: every field has a label, required fields are marked, and error messages are linked to their field and announced by screen readers.
• Galleries: images can be enlarged with the keyboard, browsed with the arrow keys and closed with Esc.
• Videos: never play automatically with sound. A background video (if added) can be paused, and videos with speech will be shown with captions.

The accessibility menu

An accessibility button sits in the corner of the screen. It opens a menu where you can enlarge text, switch on high contrast, highlight links, use a more readable font and stop animations. Your settings are stored only in your own browser, and you can reset them at any time.

Browsers and assistive technology

The site supports current versions of the major browsers — Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox — on desktop and mobile. It is built to work with common screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver.

Limitations

• Videos embedded from YouTube or Vimeo play in those services' own players, whose accessibility is determined by them.
• Despite our efforts, some component or page may not yet be fully accessible. If you come across one, please let us know and we will work to fix it as soon as possible.
